Use Node.js 24 LTS (24.11 or later, below 25) and pnpm 10.34.7. From the repository root:

pnpm install --frozen-lockfile
pnpm dev

The documentation and registry run on http://127.0.0.1:3000.

Make a focused changeCopy Anchor Link

Components live in packages/react/src/components. Registry and package builds use this source. Keep library code independent of Next.js and preserve keyboard behavior, labels, controlled state and consumer style overrides.

When adding or changing a component, update its manifest, registry dependencies, package exports and example together:

pnpm catalog:docs
pnpm registry:build

VerifyCopy Anchor Link

Stop the server on port 3000 before running the complete consumer and browser checks:

pnpm check

For a focused registry or packed-package check:

pnpm registry:validate
pnpm catalog:smoke
pnpm package:validate
pnpm package:smoke

Packed smoke tests install real local tarballs. The workspace package names are not published npm releases. Record actual results and compatibility limits in docs/audits/.

Use original or appropriately licensed assets and preserve their notices. Review License and attribution before adding fonts or artwork. Publication, deployment and changes to external repositories require maintainer approval.
